This Privacy Notice for QuenDraft AI ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and share ("process") your information when you use our website at https://www.QuenDraft.com, our web application, and our Chrome browser extension (collectively, the "Services").

1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you disclose to us
In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services, express interest in obtaining information about us or our products, when you participate in activities on the Services, or when you contact us.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. Account data is stored and managed through Supabase, our authentication and database provider.
Content you provide. When you use QuenDraft AI to write, improve, translate, or summarize text, we process the content you select or submit. This may include text from web pages where the extension is active, messages in our chat interface, uploaded files, email content in supported providers, and YouTube video content or transcripts.
If you are signed in, conversation history is stored in Supabase and linked to your account so you can access it later across the web app and extension. You may delete individual conversations from the app at any time.
Data categories we may process
In Short: Depending on how you use the Services, we may process specific categories of data disclosed in our Chrome Web Store listing.
Personally identifiable information. Such as your email address and account details when you create an account or sign in.
Personal communications. Such as chat messages and email content processed when you use features like AI Reply.
Website content. Such as selected webpage text processed when you explicitly invoke an extension feature.
Extension and usage data
In Short: We collect limited technical data to operate the extension and improve the Services.
The Chrome extension stores session tokens locally in your browser so you stay signed in and can sync with the web app. We may collect usage information such as feature usage, error logs, and basic device or browser metadata to operate and improve the Services.
Payment information
In Short: Payment data is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
2. How do we use your information?

In Short: Account, billing, and support data are used to run the Services. Gmail data is used only for the inbox features you connect.
The uses in this section apply to account, billing, support, and product-usage information. They do not apply to Google user data from Gmail or other Workspace APIs. That data is used only as described under Google user data.
We use account, billing, support, and product-usage information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the user-facing features of the Services
- Process your requests and deliver AI-assisted writing features you start
- Authenticate you across the website and extension
- Manage subscriptions and billing
- Respond to support requests you send us
- Monitor security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations
3. What browser permissions does the extension use?
Browser permissions
In Short: QuenDraft AI requests only the permissions necessary to provide its functionality.
Depending on the features you use, the extension may access the current webpage, selected text, supported email providers, browser storage, context menus, and the Chrome side panel. These permissions are used solely to deliver AI-powered features such as summarization, translation, AI replies, writing assistance, and page analysis.
4. How do we access website and email content?
Website content and host permissions
In Short: QuenDraft AI does not automatically collect content from every website you visit.
Website content is accessed only after you explicitly invoke an extension feature such as Ask AI, Summarize, Translate, Mind Map, or AI Reply.
When you request an AI feature, QuenDraft AI may process webpage content, selected text, uploaded files, email content, or YouTube transcripts solely to generate the response you requested. Only the content required for that request is transmitted to our backend and AI providers.
5. How is your information processed by AI providers?
AI processing and third parties
In Short: Your prompts and selected content may be sent to AI providers to fulfill the feature you requested.
To power writing, translation, summarization, and related features that you start, your prompts and the content you submit for that request may be sent to an AI service provider solely to produce the result you asked for. AI requests may be processed using providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Mistral, xAI, or another provider selected for that request. We send only what is needed to fulfill that request.
Gmail message content is not included in those general requests and is never sent to DeepSeek. It is sent only to OpenAI through OpenRouter, as described under Google user data, and only to classify a message or write the draft for that message.
We do not use your content, including Google user data, to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Providers that receive data to fulfill a request are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
YouTube content
In Short: We process YouTube transcripts or selected video content only when you initiate a YouTube-related feature.
QuenDraft AI may process publicly available YouTube transcripts or user-selected video content when generating summaries or transcripts.
AI Reply (email)
In Short: On Gmail, AI Reply uses OpenAI only. DeepSeek is not offered for Gmail content.
When using AI Reply, QuenDraft AI processes the email content currently selected by the user in order to generate a suggested response. Email content is processed only after the user requests AI assistance. On Gmail, AI Reply does not offer DeepSeek. That message content is sent only to OpenAI through OpenRouter. DeepSeek remains available for chat and for AI Reply on sites other than Gmail, and those requests do not include Gmail content.
Google user data
In Short: Gmail data is used only to show inbox status and save reply drafts you review. It is never used for ads or to train models.
If you connect Gmail, you grant QuenDraft AI permission to read new messages in your inbox and create drafts. When a new message appears to need a reply, that thread is processed to write a suggested reply, which is saved in your Gmail Drafts. Nothing is sent unless you send it. Google access is stored encrypted on our servers. You can disconnect at any time from your account page, which revokes the access. Existing drafts are not deleted on disconnect.
Google user data obtained through Gmail and other Workspace APIs is used only to provide or improve the user-facing inbox features that are visible in QuenDraft AI: reading new mail, deciding whether a reply is needed, and saving a draft for you to review. Those requests are sent only to OpenAI through OpenRouter. They are never sent to DeepSeek. We do not use this data for advertising, retargeting, or selling personal information. We do not use it for credit decisions. We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
We transfer this data only when that is required to provide those inbox features (including to the AI provider that writes a draft), to secure the Services, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you. Humans do not read this data unless you ask us to, it is necessary for security, we must comply with the law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized and used for internal operations. The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Do we use analytics and error monitoring?

In Short: We use Google Analytics and Sentry to understand usage and fix errors.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and web application, such as which pages are visited and how features are used. Google Analytics may collect information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction events. You can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
Sentry. We use Sentry to monitor application errors and performance issues so we can diagnose and fix problems quickly. Sentry may receive technical information such as error messages, stack traces, browser metadata, and limited usage context related to the error. Learn more at sentry.io/privacy.
Analytics and error monitoring cover website and app usage, such as pages visited and crashes. They do not receive Gmail message content or other Google user data from Workspace APIs. We do not use these tools to sell your personal information, to advertise to you, or to train AI models on your content.
7. What we don't do

- Collect passwords or payment card numbers on our servers
- Read webpage content unless you start an AI feature. Gmail content is read only after you connect Gmail, and only to draft replies you review
8. How long do we keep your information?

In Short: We keep data while your account is active; you can delete conversations or your account at any time.
We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services.
Users may delete conversations individually or permanently delete their account through the Account Settings page. Account deletion requests may also be submitted by contacting support@quendraft.com. When you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
9. How do we keep your information safe?
